Editing a draft

When a draft is close but not quite right, edit it inline and approve your version. Your edit is recorded and the agent uses approved edits to calibrate future drafts.

How to edit

  1. 1

    Open the card

Tap any pending approval card to expand it. You will see the full draft text.

  2. 2

    Tap Edit

The Edit button opens an inline text field pre-filled with the draft content. Make your changes directly in the field.

  3. 3

    Save your changes

When you are done editing, tap Approve edit. Your version is saved as the approved draft and the original is stored for reference. The event log records this as an edited approval.

What counts as the right level of editing

Edit the minimum needed to make the draft acceptable. Small corrections (word choice, tone, a factual detail) are calibration signals the agents learn from. Large rewrites (where you change the structure or intent) suggest a handbook gap. If you find yourself rewriting the same section repeatedly, update the relevant policy or writing sample in your handbook.

When you cannot find the Edit button

Escalation cards do not have an Edit option. They are notices from the Operator, not drafts. Read the card and take the action it describes. See Escalation cards for details.

Editing an Analyst report

Analyst reports are also editable before approval. The report is stored as structured JSON. The edit field shows the Markdown rendering. If you change a number or reword a section, your version is what is published to the dashboard and shared with the Marketer for the weekly content plan.
